Aerolíneas Argentinas extends the "low cost" mode to all domestic flights – 05/02/2019

The change will begin to be felt from 0 Wednesday: Aerolíneas Argentinas will allow new rates for cabotage flights which, as announced, will be more tailored to the needs of each pbadenger to make tickets cheaper.

The measure is not accidental: it comes after the entry into the Argentine market of low-cost airlines such as Flybondi or Norwegian Airlines. "Rates for you" is the name that the national carrier gives to its new rate card, which will be available from midnight. Until now, this modality could only be used for flights to Bogota and Punta Cana.

Among the services to which the pbadenger can resign in order to depreciate your pbadagethey must ship the baggage and be able to return or change the ticket. Anyone who decides not to have these opportunities will be able to access the rate "based". In this option, take a return ticket, subject to availability and in low season, return from Cordoba can cost 1 998 pesos, in Mendoza, 2 182 pesos and in Bariloche, 2 856 pesos. Hand luggage, up to eight kilograms, is included in this price, but adding a 15-kilo suitcase costs 549 pesos each way.

To and from Córdoba the same day but with the possibility to change or return the ticket and to send two suitcases of 15 kilos each reaches 4,330 pesos. Traveling in the same conditions in Mendoza costs 3,956 pesos. And in Bariloche, 4,630 pesos.

As reported by Aerolíneas Argentinas, there will be a price even cheaper than the "base" but only in certain promotional circumstances: will not be available all the time. The services already cut in the "base" pbadage are subtracted from the possibility of choosing the seat in the plane, and these pbadages do not accumulate miles. According to these rates, the round trip to Cordoba would cost 1,198 pesos, Mendoza 1,778 pesos and Bariloche 2,238 pesos.

Go from Cordoba to Flybondi with his hand luggage, which is also allowed by the "promotional" tariff of Aerolíneas, according to his website, no less than 1732 pesos. The contest is open.
