Airlines plane bringing 904,000 vaccines for teachers takes off from China

The flight had landed in Beijing at 2:32 p.m. Argentine time (1:32 a.m. Thursday in the Chinese capital), after leaving Ezeiza on Wednesday at 1:08 p.m. and making a stop at Barajas airport in Madrid to refuel. .

The loading time in the Chinese capital was almost four and a half hours and according to aviation sources everything was going normally.

Finally, the last leg of the trip envisages the departure from Barajas at 13:40 in Spain (9:40 in Argentina) to land in Ezeiza tomorrow, Thursday at 11 p.m.

To get to Spain, the plan was to fly over, after leaving Chinese airspace, Mongolia, Russia, Belarus, Germany, France, until reaching the “Adolfo Suárez” airport in Madrid. .

As in other cases where flights were carried out to transport sanitary supplies from China, on this occasion 20 crew members, including commanders, co-pilots and technical staff, traveled aboard the plane.

According to what was stated by the president of the airlines, Pablo Ceriani, “for the transfer of vaccines, which in this case require refrigeration between 2 and 8, envirotainers are used”, which are special containers with active control of temperature.

“This allows us to carry a larger volume of vaccines in the hold of the aircraft,” added the owner of Aerolineas Argentinas.

The flag company recalled that “Aerolineas Argentinas has already made four flights to the city of Moscow” and that during these trips “a total of 1,220,000 doses of Sputnik V have arrived in the country”.
