President Alberto Fernandez participate this morning in the “Climate Leaders Summit“, along with 40 other leaders. The virtual meeting aims to advance strategies to limit the increase in temperature on the planet.

The event was opened by United States President Joseph Biden, United States Vice President Kamala Harris, and UN Secretary General António Guterres.

During today’s meeting – the activity will continue on Friday – the Argentine President will also speak. Another of the guests is Pope Francis.

The goal of the Summits is to advance strategies to limit the increase in global temperature, within the setting of 1.5 degrees Celsius.
