All acts and tributes to remember heroes | Chronic

The day of remembrance has arrived. To honor those who have left their lives for the homeland. As every April 2, the tributes paid to our heroes are replicated throughout the country. Once again, the names of each of the Argentine soldiers who defended the Malvinas are highlighted and opposed to the cowardice of those who used them, lied to them, abandoned them.

37 years after the landing in Argentina, tributes to the dead began Monday night in different cities, with the vigil organized by the veterans center and whose epicenter is located in Rio Grande and Ushuaia, in the Land of Fire.

On the morning of Tuesday, the ex-combatants and relatives of the deceased soldiers will be received at the Quinta de Olivos by the president, Mauricio Macri, with whom they will share a breakfast and will underline the identification work of the deceased, who already allowed to recognize 112 of the deceased and buried in the cemetery of Darwin.

Meanwhile, at 11 o'clock, it will be the official act in front of the cenotaph located in Plaza San Martín, in Retiro, organized by the Chiefs of Staff of the Armed Forces, the Parents' Commission and the Criteria Foundation. They will place there one of the black granite plates bearing the legend "Argentine soldier only known to God", which was in the cemetery of Darwin for 37 years and which was replaced by a tombstone bearing the name and the first name.

Thus, at the end of the new anniversary of the Argentine landing at Malvinas, the acts will serve, as every year, to pay a deserved tribute to our heroes.
