Amado Boudou sentenced to a trial to pay daily allowances for "truchos"

The former vice president of the nation Amado Boudou has been sent today to oral and public proceedings by the supposed irregular surrender of travel expenses in 2010 and 2011when I was minister of the economy.

Judicial sources informed Infobae that the federal judge Ariel Lijo closed the investigation and sent the trial back to Boudou, his private secretary Hector Romano and his former head Guido Forcieri. Now, the federal oral court that will intervene in the case must be drawn.

This is the fourth case in which Boudou is subject to an oral trial. Ciccone was sentenced to five years and ten months of imprisonment. And currently, he is being tried for the Honda car's false papers – for which he had already been acquitted but sentenced to a new trial – and for the alleged irregular purchase of 19 high-end cars for the Ministry of Economy. .

Boudou is accused of "defrauding the public administration by submitting affidavits containing false information and apocryphal payment documents". Punctually, to have placed false data in four files of the Ministry of the Economy "knowing the falsity of the amounts of the recorded expenses, that they justified by falsified credentials presented at the time of the remittance of expenses of said files".

According to the indictment, the counterfeits went to four bills of the "BelAmi" hotel in Paris, France, for 9,395, 6,943.23, 19,937 and 3,863 euros. Also for the forgery of two bills of 3,300 and 3,050 euros for the payment of interpreters. "This, in order to obtain a direct economic benefit through fraud committed to the detriment of the public administration", indicates elevation to an oral process.

Judge Lijo not only returned Mr. Boudou to trial, but also ordered the opening of a new case to investigate other cases of false travel expenses.

The prosecutor, Jorge Di Lello, asked to consider whether the same counterfeiting maneuvers had been conducted during trips to Vietnam, Korea, the United Arab Emirates and various provinces of the country.

With Boudou will be judged Romano and Forcieri, who was his chief of staff at the Ministry of Economy. Forcieri was also sentenced for the Ciccone case. He was sentenced to three years and two months in prison.
