Ambulance helps terminally ill patients achieve their last wish | Chronic

A medical team from the Australian city of Queensland has decided to satisfy the desire of these men and women, especially the elderly, who are about to die.

The gesture of these doctors and nurses was to give these seniors a better quality of life and take them to places they have always dreamed of.

The inspiring gesture was late 2017, when Graeme Cooper and Danielle Kellana team of paramedics went out of their way to make sure that the patient who has been through her last hours can see the sea.

She had mentioned her love for swimming on this trip that led her to a treatment to soothe her pains. To transport it, they chose a special vehicle that they called "The last wish ambulance".

The moving scene has been immortalized on a photograph in which Cooper is seen next to the stretcher and the sea in the background of Hervey Bay, on the northeast coast of Australia.

"She told us how much she appreciated the smell of the sea", detailed nurse.

Another wish of Betty Dowsett was to take a vanilla ice cream and go around the city aboard the vehicle accompanied by his "single family", these doctors who relieve your pain.
