Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said this Sunday from Oaxaca that research is underway in Mexico to develop a vaccine against COVID-19 through Conacyt and other research centers, which one could call “Homeland”.

“With all due respect, because these are initiatives of the Conacyt (National Council for Science and Technology), public research centers but also private companies, we are going to suggest that our vaccine is called Patria. We have already deleted the name, ”the president said at a press conference from the southern city of Oaxaca.
