Amusement park failure nearly ended in tragedy

The 95th Michigan Annual Cherry Festival, United States, was about to end in a fatal accident at one of the amusement park attractions.

The basis of the game, which consists of a pendulum movement at high speed and over 15 meters high, started to wobble and everything indicated that he would not support the weight.

By noting the damage, a group of assistants reacted quickly and stood on the edge in an attempt to counterbalance. The operator stopped the trip but the tension lasted several seconds longer.

Miraculously there were no injuries and the video went viral on social media. While many have stressed that public action has hardly served to prevent the tragedy, their spirit of solidarity has prevailed.

The incident happened Thursday evening and Friday morning the attraction was closed.
