One of the pbadengers was a mayor of a rural municipality of Colombia. The pilot is declared emergency before crashing.
At 10:40 this Saturday, the pilot of the aircraft was informed of the emergency, a few minutes later he crashed.
It is known that one of the 12 people killed is the mayor Doris Lizeth Villegas Chará, of the municipality of Taraira Vaupes.
The aircraft, a DC3 aircraft, was identified with license plate HK2494 and collapsed at San Carlos Guaroa.
The Civil Defense of this country has posted on its Twitter account the confirmation of the crash.

Authorities are already investigating the causes of the accident, experts are recovering bodies and locate the black box of the plane.
