An American judge ruled in favor of Argentina's claim in YPF's lawsuit – Telam

New York South District Judge Loretta Preska ruled in favor of the Argentine Republic's request to suspend the Petersen and Eaton Park Capital cases, with a view to nationalizing YPF, until the US Supreme Court reaches the jurisdiction in which the claim is to be settled, official sources told Telam.

On Monday, the Argentine Republic and the company YPF asked the judge of first instance to suspend the start of the trial for the nationalization of the oil company that had motivated the application of the investment fund Burford, held by the litigation rights of the two companies, former shareholders of YPF.

This Wednesday's Preska resolution backed Argentina's position despite the second-circuit Court of Appeals' second appeal having, for the second time, left the path open to the magistrate to begin the trial.
