Year after year, the Swiss exhibition Geneva Inventions brings together some of the most innovative creations in the world. The 47th edition is held recently in Geneva, with 540 participants evaluated by a jury of 88 experts.

Argentine science has won one of the biggest prizes. It was thanks to the pediatrician neonatologist Lelis Hayipandelli. "Dr. Lelis" (as her patients know her) got the gold medal in the category "Didactic Materials and Methods" for his "Observation Set for the Neurological Development of the Baby" (or Baby escape).

The creation of Hayipandelli contributes to early medical screening – in the first few months – of the autism spectrum disorder, the deficit of attention and other conditions of neurobiological origin, which usually take years to discern. It is particularly useful for premature children or with difficulties at birth.
