An error on Facebook could have unlocked contacts that you have blocked

Facebook revealed another error of the platform. Yes, one more . This time, the platform admitted that the failure had caused some users to publish information regardless of their previous configuration.

"The error was active between May 29 and June 5," they admitted on the social network. The flaw was that blocked users could see the content of the people blocking them.

The error affected at least 14 million users in May for several days. In a statement, the company said that she was going to warn people who were affected by the unlocking error.

Erin Egan, the head of security and privacy of Facebook, states that the error was corrected and that all the corresponding users were blocked again.
