"I only saw it in the movies. The hole is very well designed and it's very special, "said the FBI agent.

The tunnel, which leaves from a wooded area near the bank's site, was discovered by police officers who were called by the staff of a shopping center when they realized that there was a hole in the sidewalk of one of the streets to which the establishment gave.

"It's a very small hole, very claustrophobic (…) I can not imagine how they did it, "Leverock said at a press conference.

Through the breach, they discovered the existence of the tunnel and inside were boots, tools and an electricity generator, NBC6 channel said.

With the help of a remote-controlled robot, they were able to follow the layout of the tunnel that pbades under a street and points to the area where the car service window of a Chase bank branch is located .

The bank that apparently leads the tunnel remains open to the public, but it is surrounded by policemen and a group of workers who are digging to find the exit of the tunnel, said Local 10.
