The dollar soared 25 cents at the start of the day Friday, reaching an average price of 45.80 pesos, its highest value in almost two months. In some banks, the US currency is even sold early at 46.10 pesos. The country risk, meanwhile, increases by 13 basis points and reaches 831 points. The largest hedge purchases made by investors just over a week after the national elections have been boosted over the last few hours by an unfavorable international context, characterized by the intensification of the trade war between the United States and China. In turn, the decision to reduce the Federal Reserve's benchmark interest rate has not collaborated to decompress pressures on emerging countries.

This Friday, at 11 am, Banco Galicia sold 46.10 pesos, or 20 cents more than Thursday, at the highest price of the US dollar. Behind ICBC, you can buy 46 pesos, 20 cents more than its last closing. In the French bank, it recorded one of the largest increases from 45.53 to 45.93 pesos, an increase of 40 cents. Thursday, in Santander Rio, he had closed at 45.50 pesos and, around noon, he was already trading at 45.80 pesos, an increase of 30 cents.

Country risk also reflects the impact generated by growing market uncertainty on Argentine bonds. On Wednesday, the indicator had opened at 786 points and in just two days it climbed 45 points, or 5.7%.
