Another terrorist attack? Eight injured in France by parcel pump | Chronic

At least eight people were slightly injured by an explosion Friday afternoon in the center of the French city of Lyon.

The police chief and the prosecutor went to the scene, while the spokeswoman of the Lyon prosecutor's office told CNN that the explosion could have been caused by a parcel bomb filled with nails.

Despite what the spokeswoman said about a possible explosive package, the truth is that the cause of the explosion recorded around the central square of Bellecour is still unknown.

"The reasons for the explosions will be searched later", they said of the communication and information service of the national police.

The priority right now is on the treatment of the wounded, "That's in the event of a car accident or a terrorist attack"they added.
