Argentina has banned the flight of Boeing 737 Max aircraft in its airspace, thanks to a resolution of the National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) released Saturday by social networks .

The resolution that will be published in the Official Journal also prohibits any operation with these devices by certified airlines in Argentina.

The ANAC announced this measure six days after the accident of the Boeing 737 Max 8
Ethiopian Airlines with a scale of 157 dead, the second loss of a device of this model in five months, after the death of 189 people last October of a flight of the Air Lion Company.

On Monday, the state company Aerolineas Argentinas announced the
temporary suspension of the flights of his five 737 Max 8 aircraft.

The airline said in a statement that "since it began operating with the Boeing 737 MAX 8, in November 2017, the airline has performed 7,550 flights safely and effectively."

Since the accident, several countries have decided to keep their Boeing 737 MAX on the ground and ban their overflight in their airspace.
