Argentina has "strongly" condemned the attack of two refineries in Saudi Arabia – Telam

"The Argentine government expresses its solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of the attack of its energy infrastructure which is extremely important for the production of this country and the world's supply," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

In a statement, he added that Argentina "strongly condemns this terrorist attack, which threatens peace and production".

Finally, he expressed the wish that "the oil industry program that characterizes" Saudi Arabia can be reinstated quickly.

On Saturday, two refineries of the national oil company Aramco, key to the world's supply of crude oil, were attacked with ten drones, resulting in a nearly 50% reduction in their production and a deep concern.

The offensive was claimed by Yemeni rebels Houthis, backed by Iran.
The Saudi authorities have not yet identified a culprit, while the Iranian government has denied any involvement in the incident today.
