An international consultant conducted a global survey and ratified these bad numbers for Argentina. Australia and Canada rank at the top of the ranking of the happiest countries with 86%, followed closely by China (83%) and the United States (79%).

In Europe, France and Great Britain are the countries that declare themselves the happiest, as eight out of ten French people consider them a happy person, as are 82% of Britons. Among the last three and above us are the Spaniards (46%) and the Russians (47%).

However, worldwide, happiness is 6 percentage points lower than in 2018, rising from 70% to 64% on average in 2019. In addition, four of the seven Western European countries included rankings show a trend similar to the global average: the percentage of citizens who feel happier is lower than in 2018.

Britain and Germany are the only countries in Western Europe studied in which happiness levels are higher in 2019 than in 2018. In countries such as Belgium, Sweden and Sweden, Italy, happiness has generally fallen, in Spain, the decline is 6%. In addition, the level of happiness also declined in India (83% vs. 77%), South Africa (70% vs. 59%), South Korea (57% vs. 54%) and Japan (60% vs. 52%). while he remained in countries like China (85% vs. 82%) and Saudi Arabia (76% vs. 77%).

According to this survey, health and physical well-being (55%), children (48%) and emotional relationships (48%) are the aspects of life that generate the most satisfaction among Argentines, who are also happy to know that his life makes sense (47%) and his personal safety (45%).

However, not all aspects in which respondents are interviewed in Argentina provide such optimistic data. The time devoted to social networks (10%), moving to another country (23%) and material possessions (25%) are some of the problems that generate less happiness for Argentines.
