Argentina received 6% of the vaccines it contracted: how it fared compared to other countries

Argentina signed contracts for 65,400,000 vaccines and received 4,380,540 doses: 6.6 percent. How did you do compared to other countries? Germany purchased 311.6 million vaccines and received 12.4 million: 3.9 percent. It has contracts with BioNtech / Pfizer (64 million), Moderna (50.5 million), AstraZeneca (56.3 million), Johnson & Johnson (36.7 million) and CureVac (54.1 million). And he extended contracts with Pfizer (30 million more) and CureVac (20 million). He received 8.7 million doses of BioNtech / Pfizer, 3 million of AstraZeneca and 700,000 of Moderna.

Australia bought 150.4 million and received 442 thousand: 0.3 percent. He contracted 20 million doses from Pfizer, 53.8 million from AstraZeneca, 51 million from Novavax and 25.6 million from the Covax mechanism of the World Health Organization (WHO). He only received 442,000, 142,000 from Pfizer and 300,000 from AstraZeneca.

Brazil purchased 561.9 million doses. 214.4 million to AstraZeneca, 100 million to Sinovac, 42.5 million to the Covax fund, 100 million to Pfizer, 38 million to Janssen and 20 million to Covaxin. The governors of the Northeast bought 47 million doses of Sputnik V. They only received 20.6 million from Sinovac and 4.5 million from AstraZeneca: 4.4%.

Bolivia bought 5.2 million from Sputnik V, 10 million from AstraZeneca, 500,000 from Sinopharm and 94,000 from Pfizer: 15,794,000. He received half a million from Sinopharm and 20,000 Sputnik V: 3.1 percent.

Chile contracted 36 million doses and received 10.7 million, or nearly 30 percent. He bought 10 million from Pfizer, 10 million from Sinovac and the rest from AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Covax, in smaller amounts. Sinovac was fully compliant, while Pfizer shipped 714,000 doses.

Colombia made advance purchases of 61.5 million vaccines. He contracted 10 million doses with AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Moderna; 9 million with Janssen, 20 million with the Covax fund and 2.5 million Sinovac. What did he receive ?: 1.7 million from Sinovac and 517,000 from Pfizer, part of which via the Covax mechanism.

Costa Rica bought 7.1 million doses and received 557 thousand. He reserved 4 million Pfizer, 1 million AstraZeneca and 2 million Covax. I just sent in doses of Pfizer.

Ecuador bought 20 million doses and received 167,000. He contracted 6 million from Pfizer, 5 million from AstraZeneca, 7 million from Covax and 2 million from Sinovac.

Egypt concluded contracts for 9.25 million doses. It bought 8.6 million from AstraZeneca and 650,000 from Sinopharm. It received 350,000 Sinopharm and 50,000 AstraZeneca.

Spain signed agreements for at least 136.8 million vaccines and achieved, to date, 8.7 million: 6.3 percent. He reserved for Pfizer 52 million, Moderna 33 million, AstraZeneca 31 million, Janssen 20.8 million and the amounts of the contracts with Novavax, Curevac and Sanofi / Pasteur were not disclosed. They sent them 6.6 million Pfizer, 387,000 Moderna and 1.7 million AstraZeneca.

United States bought 700 million doses. To Pfizer 300 million, to Moderna an additional 300 million and Johnson & Johnson / Janssen an additional 100 million. Without specifying any notes, he received 135 million: nearly 20%.

France has contracts for 226 million doses: 49 million from Pfizer, 24 million from Moderna, 44 million from AstraZeneca, 30 million from Johnson & Johnson, 34 million from Curevac and 45 million from Sanofi. These last two formulas, not yet approved by the European Union. It received 5.6 million from Pfizer, 550,000 from Moderna and 1.6 million from AstraZeneca.

India, one of the world’s largest vaccine manufacturers, bought 176 million doses and now owns 77 million: 43 percent! It bought 166 million doses of Covishield (the AstraZeneca formula also arrived in Argentina) and 10 million Covaxin.

Japan bought 564 million and received only 1.3 million, only 0.23 percent. The small number of vaccines she obtained was delivered by Pfizer, from which she had subscribed 144 million vaccines. Japan also bought 120 million from AstraZeneca, 50 million from Moderna and 250 million from Novavax.

Mexico reserved 254.3 million doses and has so far 7.1 million. It bought 77 million from AstraZeneca, 34.4 million from Pfizer, 35 million from Cansino, 20 million from Sinovac, 12 million from Sinopharm, 24 million from Sputnik V and 51.5 million from the Covax fund. He got 2 million from Sinovac, 3.8 million from Pfizer, 870 thousand AstraZeneca and 400 thousand Sputnik V.

Norway contracted 9.4 million vaccines and has 632 thousand. He bought from Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca and Janssen.

New Zealand bought 10 million from Pfizer and received 200,000 doses.

Paraguay He reserved 5.2 million doses, 4.3 million from the Covax fund and 996,000 Sputnik V. He received 4,000 Russian vaccines and 20,000 donated by Chile.

United Kingdom has agreements for 421 million doses: 100 million with AstraZeneca, 4 million with Pfizer, 17 million with Moderna, 60 million with Novavax, 30 million with Janssen, 60 million with Sanofi, 100 million with Valneva and 50 million with Curevac. He received 26.5 million doses – just over 6%.

South Africa made deals for 4.3 million and only received 130,000 doses of Johnson & Johnson.

Sweden agreed to buy 25.5 million vaccines and only got 1.6 million. Its biggest contract is with Pfizer: 9.8 million doses.

turkey bet on the purchase of 100 million doses from Sinovac and 30 million from Pfizer. He has received, to date, 13 million, the majority of the Chinese formula.

Uruguay concluded transactions for 5.25 million doses: 1.75 million from Sinovac, 2 million from Pfizer and 1.5 million from the Covax fund. So far he has received 1.7 million doses of Sinovac and 100,000 doses of Pfizer.
