Argentina will be part of a Latin American space agency

The Latin American and Caribbean Space Agency (ALCE) was established today during the VI Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), after the signing of the constitutive agreement by the member countries, including Argentina. The objective of the agency is the “integral and sustainable development of the space domain” in the region, in addition to “promoting national technological development”.

“The Convention creates the I RAISED as an international organization for peaceful purposes, for the benefit of cooperation between Member States, without discrimination, in exploration, research and space technology activities and their applications, which contribute to and strengthen integral and sustainable development of the region’s space domain ”, communicated the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Trade and Worship.
