Argentines traveling to Europe since 2021 must pay a license

Since 2021, the Argentineans who go to Europe have to pay a license, established by an official resolution published these last hours.

This is the European Travel Information and Authorization System Etias, whose visa preference does not require photographic or biometric data, nor indicates a financial situation.

According to Clarín, the cost would be about 7 euros, it will be valid for three years and can be paid online.

Etias is a fully electronic system that allows authorizing and tracking visitors from countries not requiring a visa to access the Schengen area.

The data provided by travelers will be cross-referenced with the EU and Interpol databases and, in this process, they will be defined when there are reasons to refuse entry.

Air and sea carriers will have the obligation to check whether foreigners from the included countries have completed the process.
