Every October 19 is commemorated throughout the world the International Day against Breast Cancer. In this context, the World Health Organization proposes that dissemination activities be carried out throughout the month to promote checks. Since then, October has been considered the “pink month”.

Some Argentine soccer teams and other international soccer teams carried the campaign by wearing their clothes dyed pink.

The Instituto Atlético Central Córdoba was the first to show it this Friday, when it found its home crowd at Alta Córdoba’s “Monumental” and ended up with a 2-1 victory over Atlético Rafaela.

“October is declared World Breast Cancer Month to raise awareness and encourage control, detection and rapid action to fight it. This is why we have produced special edition t-shirts for each of our clubs, seeking to make visible and to further support this cause in pure #GarraLyon “, indicated Lyon, the brand that dresses the Cordoba club.

This way Ferro and Defensa y Justicia, who are also in uniform, will have their own pink dyed t-shirts.

Sarmiento was another of those who carried the campaign this Saturday, when he beat Aldosivi 3-0 at home.

“We present to you the new green jersey with the aim of raising awareness about the fight against breast cancer. It will be released tomorrow during the match against Aldosivi,” they said in the official account of Twitter from the club last Friday.

The “Pink October” will also have its place in “La Bombonera” this date, when Lanús faces Boca and leaves aside the painting that identifies him.

In addition, the “Garnet” reported that part of the proceeds from sales of this month’s edition will be donated to the Argentine League Against Cancer.
