Armed attack on journalists in Mexico: one dead and another wounded

On Saturday, an armed attack in the city of Hermosillo, in the state of Sonora, ended the life of radio presenter Reynaldo López and injured Carlos Cota, representative of Televisa television.

According to local media reports, the incident was reported to have taken place around 5:50 pm A van containing armed individuals began to follow the vehicle where the communication officers were. Lopez died in the attack, while Cota was seriously injured and taken to a local hospital. Both were hit by 14 shots.
