The little boy graduated in physics from the University of Antwerp with an average of nine out of ten and in one course.

At just 11, he completed his physics degree with a “cum laude” degree in less than a year, and the degree typically requires a minimum of three years.

According to the Dutch agency ANP, now intends to continue with a master’s degree in physics at the same university.

Simons started primary school at the age of four, then continued his secondary education at the Sint-Josef Humaniora Institute in Bruges, with only six years old. This last stage was completed in 18 months, whereas it usually takes eight years, and therefore entered university at nine.

Its main objective is “to be able to replace as many parts of the body as possible with manufactured organs”.
