At least seven people died in Venezuela on Monday after a migrant boat sank in the east of the country, who was on his way to Trinidad and Tobago, while seven other people survived and nine others are still missing.

This new shipwreck comes four months after the death of nearly 30 migrants who were traveling aboard the boat “Mi Recuerdo”, which sank on the way to Trinidad and Tobago, which has become one of the most recurring destinations for migrants due to its proximity to Venezuela.
