"Smoking" is what a patient from the Zelenodolsk Hospital in Tatarstan, Russia, whispered to the doctors who, astonished, asked him where he was going, while walking down a corridor in his underpants and with a knife stuck in the back .

The unusual case occurred Monday in this city on the edge of the Volga when the patient, identified as being Vladimir, was urgently and drunkly transferred to the local hospital after having been stabbed during a fight.

The health staff undressed him so that he could have him operated and remove his dagger. But the man suddenly turned to the door to go out, no matter that he's only wearing knickers soaked in blood in the middle of the cold of Russian winter or that I did not even have any cigarettes.
