Atlantic Road, the most beautiful road in the world – 21/04/2019

The road is calling Atlantic Road connects the island of Averoy to the European continent through a series of small islands and islets with a total of eight bridges along 8.274 meters Norway. The 8.2-kilometer route was opened in 1989 and is free.

The Atlantic route has the status ofe national tourist route and there is a stretch between two cities, Bud and Kristiansundwhich is a continuous experience full of coastal landscapes, culture and history. The highest bridge, the Storseisundet, has a special architectural appeal, because the engineers had to design it with an exceptional and spectacular curve offering an almost artistic perspective to the engineering of roads and bridges.
