The province of Jujuy will become the pioneer of medicinal cannabis production in the history of the country. It will be transplanted to the farm from May-June. To advance in production and industrialization, the jujeña company calculates that it will start producing cannabis oil "between August and November of this year".

MPP Alejandra Cejas reacted to this measure by presenting a request before the Superior Court of Justice of Jujuy to seek the unconstitutionality of the law creating the company Avatara Cannabis, arguing that "It has drug export goals for the United States".
