Barcelona rape woman cut off boss’s penis and surrendered to police

The Regional Police of Catalonia on Tuesday arrested a woman accused of cutting her boss’s penis with a knife, which according to the detainee, tried to sexually assault her.

In statements to reporters on Tuesday, a police spokesperson explained that the relationship between the two was work –the man was in charge of the bar where the woman works– and that there is no proof that it was a sentimental couple or that the detainee had lodged a prior complaint for infringement of sexual freedom.

The man appeared this morning at the local police station in Sant Andreu de la Barca (Barcelona) with serious injuries to the genital area, for which he was operated on in a hospital in the Catalan capital, without fear for his life.

Then the police spokesperson explained, The woman also appeared at the same premises, where she admitted responsibility for the injuries and She explained that she did it because the man had forced her to have non-consensual sex on several occasions.

The woman remains detained for the offense of injury, While the man has not yet been arrested, although he has investigative status.

Investigation of the whole event it’s still at a very early stage, since the officers have not yet taken any testimony from the man or witnesses.

This new case is reminiscent of Lorena Bobbit, the American who became famous for cutting her husband John’s penis with a knife as she slept on June 23, 1993 in Manassas, Virginia, fed up with her husband’s physical and sexual abuse.
