Big blow for the CJNG: they seized monster trucks, luxury vehicles and weapons in their own stronghold

An error by the alleged members of the Jalisco Next Generation Cartel (CJNG) led to the seizure of weapons, monster vehicles and luxury units, in the town of Tuxpan, in Jalisco.

According to reports, investigative elements that circulated at kilometer 63 + 350, of the highway that goes from Guadalajara to Colima they noticed a gun thrown in one of the properties. After gathering evidence, they applied for a search warrant from the prosecution.

While the request was being resolved, uniformed officers monitored the area and on the farm, identified as a suspect, found the criminals’ equipment. “The Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office (MPF) requested and completed the search procedure with the support of experts from the institution, elements of the Federal Ministerial Police (PFM) and the Secretariat of National Defense”, explained the general state prosecutor’s office.

124 cartridges for these weapons were also located, as well as eight magazines. In 2019, a similar observation occurred in the same municipality. On this occasion, two monster vehicles were found, which were found thanks to the fact that the military detected another vehicle with a theft report.

In the municipality of Tuxpan, located in the south of the state of Jalisco, the delivery of pantries by members of the CJNG was recorded in 2020. That same year occurred the death of the lieutenant of this region: Jdared Guadalupe Rodríguez Castillo, alias The 15th O Don Lupe.

Rodríguez Castillo’s death reportedly occurred when grenade exploded after clash in the mountainous area of ​​the municipality of Pihuamo, in Jalisco; the report indicates that he was transferred in an ambulance guarded by a command to a hospital in Ciudad Guzmán, where he is said to have died.

The armed men escorting the alleged capo then took the body out of the hospital and transferred it to a farm in central Tuxpan commune, where the death certificate was issued on Sunday.

Don Lupe had already been arrested once in 2019; However, he left a few months later as it was only possible to prove that the crime of carrying of arms. This criminal was accused of having participated in the disappearance of three Italians in Jalisco.
