Bodybuilder confessed to murdering his parents because he didn’t want to walk the dog

“We were in the lobby. We fell to the ground together. I don’t know if I strangled him from behind or from the front. I only remember that I squeezed very hard ”, Benno Neumair admitted. When her mother returned home, she also hanged her without saying a word.

Her sister, Madè Neumair, lives in Germany and communicated with her parents every day. Having no news of them, he reported their disappearance. For investigators, Benno quickly became the prime suspect in the crime. Their versions did not close, and Madè revealed that she had a very confrontational relationship with her parents.

On January 29, Benno was stopped. On February 6, their mother’s body was found in the Adige River. And while he insisted on his innocence for several days, he finally collapsed and admitted to the double murder.

During questioning, Benno pointed out that he killed his parents with the same rope and then loaded them into the trunk of the family car, to finally throw them into the river. Although Peter’s body has not yet appeared, near where they found Laura, they did see traces of blood and one of her shoes. Benno is being held in Bolzano prison.
