Bolivia has returned to the IMF a credit of 350 million dollars for “irregularities and onerous”

The Central Bank of Bolivia announced the disbursement of 351 million dollars to the IMF, under a loan requested under the government of Jeanine Áñez.

This Wednesday, The Central Bank of Bolivia (BCB) revealed that it had returned a figure close to $ 351.5 million to the International Monetary Fund. The loan was requested during the tenure of Jeanine Áñez.

In April 2020, the former president requested a loan from the international organization in order to increase the economic resources available to deal with the pandemic.
