Brazil elections: Lula Da Silva wins over Jair Bolsonaro and other candidates according to recent poll

The leader of the Workers’ Party, Luiz Inacio Lula Da Silva, rallies 40 percent with the intention of voting to win in the first round of the next election, according to a poll released on Tuesday, while Jair Bolsonaro reaches 24%, two points less than in the previous survey.

According to the consulting firm XP / Ipespe, in the first scenario considered, the leader of the TP has 40% of the voting intentions in the first round (there were 38% in the previous poll), while Jair Bolsonaro note 24% (26%). This is the fifth survey in which Lula shows an increasing trend.

In an alternative scenario, in which the acceptance of other candidates is calculated, the former president reaches 37%, while Bolsonaro the 28%. Ciro Gomes, in third place, reached 11%. In this projection, João Doria, of the PSDB, obtains 5%, the same result as José Luiz Datena, of the PSL.

On the main stage of the second round, Lula extends its lead over Bolsonaro and it registers 51%, against 32% of the current occupant of the Planalto Palace. As if that wasn’t enough Da silva would beat any other opponent in the 2nd round yet: against controversial judge Sergio Moro, would gain from 49% to 34%; against Ciro, from 49% to 31%; and against Eduardo Leite, from 51% to 27%.

As there is no good news for Jair Bolsonaro, the deputy of Democratic Labor Party Ciro Gomes he would beat the president of the Brazilian far right with 44% against 32%. The head of the operation Car Wash, Sergio Moro also take advantage of Bolsonaro, but only 6 points (36% to 30%).

João Doria (37% to 35%), Luiz Henrique Mandetta (38% to 34%) and Eduardo Leite (35% to 33%) appear numerically ahead of Bolsonaro, but on a technical level since the margin of error considered is plus or minus 3.2 percentage points.
