Bobby Woody III, a farmer from northeastern Texas, in the United States, faced a sad picture as he wandered in his field after a storm: a row of dead cows next to a fence.

Woody said he found fifteen cows and eight dead calves on his farm near Annona and claimed that the animals were standing alongside a fence that was struck by lightning. "Every cow had burns in the stomach, which shows the strength of the tension" he said.

On Facebook, the breeder wrote: "When the lightning struck, the tension was such that the cows were shaken in the middle of the field." And he went on to say that the incident was one of the things "The craziest and craziest I've ever seen."

Dead animals on his farm, on the outskirts of Annona.

The discovery was made by a farmer from the region.
