British Parliament rejected Boris Johnson's timetable for applying Brexit

British Parliament rejected the government's ultimatum to sanction the law of Brexit with an accelerated process, in a new setback for Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

The vote took place after the House of Commons approved the decision on Tuesday, the first time members sign up for an exit plan since the referendum of 2016, during which the British approved the exit of the United Kingdom from the European Union.
