the Latin American pizza championship is organized for the first time, involving more than 150 pizzeria masters from the continent between today and Wednesday.
The competition takes place at Costa Salguero Center, next to the ninth edition of the
Argentina Championship of Pizza and Empanada,
The winning venues will emerge to compete in the regional body and represent the country at the 2020 World Cup.
Representatives of the Association of Pizzerias Owners and Empanadas Houses of the Argentine Republic (Appyce) said that they will know tomorrow who are the Argentines who will represent the country.
Those who climb the podium in the first three places will earn a diploma with the position obtained in the competition, prizes in supplies or special bonuses from the contest sponsors.
The categories activated in the competition at the national level are:

The Latin American Contest includes the following lists:
- gluten-free pizza
- in the teglia
- shovel
- pizzas from each country
- pizza with surprise drawer
The jury is composed of 23 notable members, including chefs, master pizzeros and journalists. 115 participants from the country will prepare 420 different pizzas and empanadas, while the 36 Latin Americans from Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Venezuela, Cuba and from the Dominican Republic will cook 126.
