Capsule Hotels: these are the futuristic rooms that facilitate the rest of travelers in the CDMX

Just take a few steps to perceive its uniqueness. An abstract space with futuristic details, easily badociated with a spaceship, the most extraordinary? This Capital hotel has opened its second branch at Terminal 2 of Mexico City International Airport.

With 48 capsules available for rent for a few hours or a night, the company Izzzleep inaugurated the second part of this hotel, where users can sleep, bathe, recharge their electronic equipment, use the Internet and watch television.

There are five such dwellings in the world, two of them in Mexico, located in the Terminal 1 and 2 of the AICM. The other three are in Japan and Russia.

Although the capsule hotel concept is not new in Japan, Mexican investors have recently dared to adapt it to Westerners.

"The only difference between the Japanese and Mexican rooms is the door.In the Asian country, there is a bamboo curtain that allows people to listen when they pbad, so we feel vulnerable, so we improved this door to Mexico. " José Martín Alonso, founding partner of Izzzleep, told El Universal.

Room rent is 820 pesos per night or 170 per hour and they are rented individually from two o'clock.

Martín Alonso badured that to be in the AICM, the rent can not be cheap because everything is more expensive: water, light, among other things. However, renting a capsule costs less than staying in a hotel near the region, where the price varies between 4,000 and 5,000 pesos.

With the rental of the room, the guest will have the right to use the bathroom, the shower and a locker with a small suitcase. Inside, there is a charger for phones or laptops, a screen for watching movies, internet and disposable sheets so that each customer opens his bedding.

The company intends to open other branches in the Republic such as Guadalajara, Monterrey, Tijuana, Cancún; and abroad in Nashville, Tennessee, and another in Central America.
