This group of Venezuelans received Vecchio chanting the name of Guaidó, recognized by some 50 countries as interim president of Venezuela, and by the leader of the opposition, Leopoldo López, while the militants of the left group "Code Pink "was rebelling yells at Vecchio by calling" puppet "the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

The Venezuelan Embbady, ​​in the affluent neighborhood of Georgetown, he became a symbol of the power struggle in Venezuela, where Guaidó and Maduro claim the leadership of the state.

For about two weeks, activists of "Code Pink" sleep inside the embbady to prevent him from being busy by the Vecchio team, while for a few days, dozens of opponents came gradually at the Embbady to claim it for Guaidó.

Among these adversaries, a certain impatience began to be born and, consequently, Vecchio tried to calm the spirits, baduring that he will take the embbady but that he must comply before the legal procedures.

"From the first day," he said, "I'm trying to get the embbady back, but I will not do it irresponsibly because I'm in another country. I will not do it without respect the laws of this country, without respecting the administrative procedures and coordinate with our natural allies, as the United States did with us, I will not do it irresponsibly"

"I will do it seriously, as we have been doing for months and say to Venezuelans that it is the next government, serious and responsible, to manage the affairs of the state," he said. .

In a moment, the activists of "Pink code"They left the embbady by the back door and a group of Venezuelan opponents tried to stop them from entering the building again.

"They use them, Nicolás Maduro uses them! They do not even know why they are fighting! This is a Venezuelan embbady and you know what? The Venezuelans present, those of Nicolás Maduro, are gone, "said Rosa Gómez, who explained that she has been in the United States for 19 years.

Outside the embbady, ​​dozens of secret service guards and local police in Washington monitored protesters.

These security forces are those who have the custody of the embbady because it is located on the US territory and it is they who must make the decision to expel the activists of "Code Pink" so that the sent from Guaidó can seize the building.

This decision has not yet been made and Carlos Vecchio has refused to set a date for this event.
