From this Monday, Aeroparque Jorge Newbery will only perform cabotage flights to and from Uruguay. This is the second and final step in the process of "Deregionalization" from the Buenos Aires terminal, which had started in the middle of last year. This is why Aerolíneas Argentinas and Latam have already announced that they have transferred to Ezeiza the flights they were carrying out in Brazil and Chile. The goal of this change is to unpack the operation and give more space to the low cost airlines operating in the country.

As part of this process, Aerolíneas had to move 38 daily frequencies. The destinations that have moved to Ezeiza de Aeroparque are new. "With these operations, Aerolíneas will add an average of 56 daily flights from the international airport," the company said.
