The chavista of the Supreme Court of Justice (TSJ) ordered Penal prosecute seven Venezuelan opposition MPs for "flagrant commission" of crimes such as treason and conspiracy, announced to the court a week after lawmakers backed the "Liberty" operation launched by interim president, Juan Guaidó.

In a statement, the court said that it had ordered that the decision be forwarded to the Attorney General, Tarek William Saab, "so that the corresponding criminal case will continue," as well as to the 39; National Constituent Assembly (ANC), which had planned to lift the immunity of parliamentarians who supported the uprising against the dictator Nicolás Maduro.

"Because it is the flagrant commission of common crimes (…) the preliminary hearing of merit of the aforementioned citizens is not applicable, why their prosecution corresponds to ordinary courts in criminal matters", Add the letter.

The seven MPs are: Henry Ramos Allup (AD), Luis Germán Florido (independent), Marianela Magallanes López (LCR), José Simón Calzadilla Peraza (Progressive Movement), Andrés Enrique Delgado Velázquez, American De Grazia (LCR) and Richard José Blanco Delgado (ABP).

It's a legal phenomenon! The infamous TSJ calls the constitutional duty to restore democracy a crime. They reissued the 2017 program when I reported that they wanted to wipe out the @AsambleaVe. This action is not only against the deputies, it is against all Venezuelans! https://t.co/XJaL73MZMj
