Chileans defy curfew in Santiago areas – News

Thousands of Chileans challenged the curfew at various locations in Santiago on Monday night before military and security forces fired grenades with tear gas and water to disperse protesters.

The curfew came into effect at 8 pm on Monday and will last until 6 pm on Tuesday.

It is therefore the first Chilean region in which the measure of the night is announced.
