Every year after Major League Baseball All -Star game alignments are announced, there still seems to be a reaction to a specific player who is snubbed.

And this year was not different.

After the Tampa Bay Rays' starting pitcher, Blake Snell, did not appear in the US League lineup, many fans expressed disappointment. But Snell had a particular person on social media, saying it was a "joke" that the launcher with the best LA ERA was left on the list.

Rays pitcher Chris Archer posted a video on his Instagram account, saying how ridiculous his teammate was not to be unanimous for the Midsummer Clbadic.

"Something like that can not happen," said Archer in the video. "(Snell) leads the league in the ERA, which means that he lost the least points in nine innings at every thrower in the league … Players, coaches, directors – we have to do a better job with the selection process so we can put the best talents on the field for fans of the Midsummer Clbadic. "

Archer also presented a case for Snell on Twitter

Although Snell still has a chance to align, the pitcher has said that it's not nearly the same thing as & nbsp; A substitute rather than a starter.

"I feel like a substitute, it's not satisfying," Snell said via ESPN. "I feel like I deserved it but being a substitute, it does not seem the same to me."

It's hard to argue with Snell. The southpaw is 12-4 on the season with a 2.09 ERA with 132 strikeouts in 116 innings. His 12 victories bring him to second place in the AL, while his 14 quality starts connect him to third place.

The All-Star Game will be held on July 17 at Nationals Park in Washington D.C.
