Apparently, even the Chavistas themselves are beginning to suffer the serious consequences of the mbadive blackout suffered by Venezuelans since last Thursday. For this reason, Ten people close to dictator Nicolás Maduro tried to enter Colombia, but the Colombian immigration authorities prevented him from entering the country.
Christian Krüger Sarmiento, Managing Director of Migration Colombia, badured that the measure had been taken by the authorities in a sovereign and discretionary manner.
"We will not allow that while the people of Venezuela die in hospitals because of lack of energy, the Maduro regime's relatives to enter Colombia to spend holidays avoiding the reality of a suffering people "warned Krüger.
"These people who were admitted yesterday were part of the list of more than 300 people close to the dictator Maduro who we will not let them enter or transit freely through Colombia ", he added.
The director of migration indicated that the procedure was conducted "through the exchange of information that we have with other countries (…) who have the same position as Colombia against the dictator Maduro's regime ".
Similarly, Krüger pointed out that the list of people "continues to lengthen" on the basis of the information provided by the Colombian authorities and ruled that those with links to Maduro "will not be able to freely mobilize in the region".
A few weeks ago, the Colombian authorities also prevented Chavez officials trying to cross the border from entering the country.
This attempt to leave the country reflects the contradictions within the regime. While Maduro and his officials badure that the system has been restored in much of the country, relatives of the dictator seek to avoid the energy crisis that crosses the border.
On Tuesday, the opposition protested against the mbadive blackout that already caused more than 20 deaths in hospitals due to lack of attention.
"It's time to make active resistance in the community, inform, help, promote solidarity actions between families and communities "said the dictator.
