In this regard, Gerson Orlando Bermont Galavis, Director of Promotion and Prevention, indicated that “ in order to attract the greatest number of Colombians over 55 years of age who have not yet started their vaccination or completed their program, it is available throughout the country. 2,500 vaccination points ”.

It will be a day of intensification of vaccination both for the first dose and for those who have the second dose pending, without barriers and without difficulties in starting or ending the vaccination process.

For this reason, the director invited all citizens to come to vaccination points across the country on Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., where the right to be vaccinated against covid-19.

Likewise, from the Health portfolio, the territorial entities, EPS and IPS are invited to form strategic alliances at the local level with media directors, journalists and other communication alternatives to present the objectives of the intensification and thus generate a mobilization. social benefit for the public. health.

In the same vein, those responsible for this great day of intensification must reorganize the different vaccination tactics in coordination with the vaccination points against covid-19, in intra and extramural modalities to guarantee vaccination, as well as safety. of users, companion and human talent in health, “strengthening hygienic and sanitary measures and thus intensifying vaccination actions in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Bermont.
