Concussion for a baby born of three heads

Doctors from Etah district, in Uttar Pradesh, have undertaken a series of studies to determine the appropriate treatment for a baby born with what has been described as "three heads "because of a conbad defect.

The baby's mother had a normal pregnancy in accordance with expected standards, but gave birth to a baby who has two bumps in the back of the head due to a condition called encephalocele.

The birth was in the town of Pilua, but the baby was taken to the Etah District Hospital for a tomography. It is thus that the first possible diagnosis has been reached: their "heads" are the product of the accumulation of the brain and the membranes that cover it on the outside of the skull. The condition is conbad, it occurs because the neural tube does not close completely during pregnancy.
