Confirmed the continuation of Cristina Kirchner for the letter of San Martín

The Federal Chamber of Buenos Aires confirmed the Continuation of the former President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner following the discovery of two historical documents at her home of the city of Santa Cruz de Calafate, last August, during a search ordered by the judge Claudio Bonadio, as part of the investigation on the alleged "cause of notebooks".

The court of appeal however changed the clbadification of the offense ordered by Bonadio by understanding that it was not a case of "concealment" but "breach of duty of the public official".

During the incursion into the home of the Kirchner family, the justice of the peace seized 94 boxes containing various presumed valuables. Among them, they found a letter written in 1835 by General José de San Martín and the archives of former President Hipólito Yrigoyen.

A few weeks ago, the version of the former president was known about the origin of this letter. As reported Cristina in his book "Sincerely", it is the Russian President Vladimir Putin who gave it to him in 2015.

"It is sufficiently established that the importance and historical value of the exhibits examined were certainly circumstances known to the accused: it is sufficient to do so with the transcendence which he attributed to the gifts received", said the judges of the House. "There is no doubt that the historical documents examined, by their nature, are part of history and, as such, are considered by law as the cultural heritage of society and should not be kept in reserve for personal usufruct. " , the judges said.

"At the reception, It was not only inevitable but inevitable that Fernández de Kirchner informed the General Archives of the Nation of his possession.because it was an express obligation of the law whose ignorance can not claim successfully nor rely on a forced interpretation of its forecasts in the respect of the normative clarity on the subject ", they declared.

Bruglia and Irurzun They also confirmed the embargo of one hundred thousand pesos that Bonadio had imposed on the former president.when he treated for the possession of these documents.
