The new President of the Republic, Nito Cortizo, announced that his cabinet would be composed of young professionals and experienced people.

"Some areas of government need young people, but experienced people are also needed to save Panama from poverty and inequality," said Cortizo.

Cortizo met with the judges of the Electoral Tribunal to discuss various national issues and stressed that from now on, the names that will form the Transitional Commission will be badyzed, under the leadership of Vice President José Gabriel Carrizo.

Cotizo's first challenge as the new president will be to reactivate the economy and pay the $ 1 billion the government owes to suppliers who provide services to the government.
