Two Argentineans who flew a Cessna 150 plane were not injured after landing in an emergency in a city west of San Jose, capital of Costa Rica.

Damián Barreira and Cristian Sapun, both aged 23, were traveling to Panama when their plane's engine lost power and had to land on a street in the city of Pavas.

The red and white plane lost its flight. He first hit the tail of a tree before landing in the middle of the street near La Amistad Park in Pavas.

According to witnesses, the two Argentines were able to leave the plane on their own and were taken to the Hospital del Trauma with minor injuries.
