As reported by the Municipality of Berisso, this role is now played by Sofía Lasco Geba (Slovak community), Emma López Vena Sidor (Ukrainian community), Valentina Caprara Santurian (Armenian community), Guadalupe Maciel (Spanish community), Avril Morelli Elias (Arab community), Danna Ayelen Torres Peralta (Peruvian community), Sharon Loreley Paredes (Paraguayan community), Joaquina Marelli (Uruguayan community), María Eugenia Altuve (Italian community), Celeste Cagliardi Mitoff (Lithuanian community), Malena Nicoloff Chacaroff Duarte ( Bulgarian) community), Melina Monte Brito (German community), Mía Clapso (Greek community), María Agustina García Galinski (Polish community), Irene Roque (Belarusian community) and Brisa Veloz Yurec (Yugoslav community).

The activity took place in the presence of the authorities of the local municipality and the Association of Foreign Entities (AEE), in charge of the organization of the Festival.

Ballet groups from communities in Spain, Italy, Germany, Yugoslavia, Ukraine, Albania, Peru, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Armenia and Arab countries were also presented.

The organization stressed that for each day of festivals and presentations, the reception capacity and the health measures in force due to the pandemic are respected.

Along with the presentation of the children’s representatives, the Festival yesterday offered the opportunity to discover and taste the typical dishes of each of the cultures.

Between late afternoon and midnight, the food tour operated in person.

From the municipality, it was reported that this proposal will be present again today, between noon and night, at the headquarters of the communities.

Meanwhile, at the Victoria Cinema at 6 p.m. the most anticipated moment will take place: the election of the Provincial Ambassador for Immigrants, closing one of the most important celebrations in the region.

As noted, the figure of the ambassador was established in 2019, by decision of the communities, replacing the classic name of queen.
