Daniel Ortega's regime released another 50 political prisoners in Nicaragua

The Nicaraguan regime has released a group of 50 opposition protesters arrested for demonstrating against President Daniel Ortega in the context of the crisis that erupted almost a year ago and left hundreds of dead and detainees and thousands of others in exile.

The ex-prisoners went aboard minibuses from the maximum security prison known as "The model", under the custody of the authorities of the national penitentiary system, according to the information provided by relatives of the detainees.
